Evan's Notch Open: Expect Road Work This Year

As of May 19, Evan’s Notch Road is officially open for the season. Travelers should expect road work throughout the year, with one-way traffic in sections where crews are actively working.

According to the Maine DOT and the Saco Ranger Station, paving has been completed from North Chatham to within a half mile of Route 2. The road will remain open while improvements continue—please drive with caution and follow posted signage.
