Pay RE Taxes Online

The Town of Stow is pleased to announce they accept real estate tax payments online. Maine PayPort Online can be accessed through the Stow website https://www.stowmaine.us/tax-information and clicking on the orange 'Pay Now' button. There is a 2.5% processing fee that is charged for the transaction. Taxes can also be paid via mail or in person at the Town Hall. Tax bills were mailed 10/16/25. Taxes are due December 1st. Thank you for paying your taxes on time!

Invitation for Bid

The Town of Stow seeks bids for road paving. For work details send an email to selectboard@stowmaine.us. Bids are due by 5:00 pm Tuesday, Ocotober 28, 2025.

Grant Writer Opportunity

The Town of Stow Maine is seeking a qualified Grant writer to assist the Selectboard. The prospective candidate should have a minimum of five years experience in procuring funding for municipal or private projects.

South Chatham Rd Closed 10/13

On or about Monday, October 13, 2025, weather permitting, the Town of Stow will be closing South Chatham Road from approximately at 7:30 AM to 4:00 pm for road work.

Evan's Notch Open: Expect Road Work This Year

As of May 19, Evan’s Notch Road is officially open for the season. Travelers should expect road work throughout the year, with one-way traffic in sections where crews are actively working.
